Fire prohibition set for part of Kamloops Fire Centre

Community Sports Field & Athletics Facility - Changeroom Showers

At the April 15, 2015 meeting of the Board of Directors an amendment to the 2015 financial plan was approved to allow for $340,000 to be added for the expansion and addition of showers to the amenities building at the new Community Sports Field and Athletics Facility at the Okanagan College site.
Alternative Approval Process for the Proposed Disposition of Park Lands in Relation to Subdivision

The Regional District of North Okanagan is proposing to seek the approval of qualified electors within the District of Coldstream, City of Vernon and Electoral Areas “B” and “C” (service participants) by means of an Alternative Approval Process for the adoption of Disposition of Park Lands Acquired in Relation to Subdivision Bylaw No. 2665, 2015.
Swan Lake Projects Receive Funding

Water related projects have been given a boost thanks to funding from the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB). The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) has received $30,000 in funding from the OBWB’s Water Conservation and Quality Improvement Grant Program for two projects in the North Okanagan focused on Swan Lake.
