The Regional District of North Okanagan has completed the 2016 Climate Action Revenue Incentive Program (CARIP) Public Report as required by the Province of BC.
Long-weekend closure of Paddlewheel Park Boat Launch due to high water levels
Friday, May 19, 2017 -
The Board of Directors of the Regional District of North Okanagan have made the decision to close the boat launch at Paddlewheel Park over the May long weekend, effective May 18, 2017. The closure is in response to the hazardous boating conditions created by high waters, and the potential threat to shoreline properties as a result of wake-creating activities such as boating or use of personal watercrafts.
Boil Water Notice for Enderby Water Utility - Including Gunter Ellison Customers - RESCINDED
Effective May 15, 2017 at 2:00pm, the City of Enderby has lifted the Boil Water Advisory. This applies to customers on BOTH sides of the Len Bawtree (Enderby) Bridge, and includes Splatsin and the Gunter-Ellison Service Extension.

Greater Vernon Water (GVW), in conjunction with Interior Health Authority (IH) has issued a WATER QUALITY ADVISORY for customers supplied by the Delcliffe Water Utility. The area impacted includes Delcliffe Road and Cameron Road.

Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) – Grindrod Water Utility (GRW) with Interior Health, advises customers that the WATER QUALITY ADVISORY issued for our customers on May 11, 2017 has been RESCINDED.
BX Creek Trail Between Star Road and Tillicum Road Closed Due to Unstable Ground Conditions
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 -
BX Creek Trail is closed between Star Road and Tillicum Road due to hazardous conditions being created by ground instability. The Regional District is asking that people stay off of that section of BX Creek Trail until further notice.
Financial assistance available for central interior flooding victims
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 -
Disaster Financial Assistance (DFA) is now available to eligible British Columbians in the Central region who may have been impacted from the flooding that began on May 4, 2017.
