Greater Vernon Water (GVW) advises customers that the Kalamalka Lake water source was turned off on Saturday March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. due to turbidity that can reduce the Ultra Violet Disinfection effectiveness at the Mission Hill Treatment Plant.

Greater Vernon Water (GVW), in partnership with the City of Vernon and through the support of a Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Blue Water Project and Okanagan Basin Water Board Grant, is hosting a ½ day workshop March 30, 2015 on the design and construction of a unique type of waterwise landscaping, rain gardens.

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is pleased to announce the 2015 Composter Rebate Program. The RDNO will offer a $30 rebate to North Okanagan residents who purchase an approved composter at a participating retailer between now and September 30th.
