Development Variance Permit Application - 19-0676-D-DVP-LUOND - 2393 Highway 6,  Electoral Area “D”

Alois & Brigitt Luond have submitted a Development Variance Permit application which requests the approval of the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) to reduce the side yard setback requirements associated with two proposed wood product manufacturing shops and outdoor storage areas on the above described property as shown on the attached site plan.  If approved, the Development Variance Permit would allow a variance to the following sections of the Regional District of North Okanagan Zoning Bylaw No. 1888, 2003:
1. Section 803.10.i.iii.b by decreasing the west and east side yard setback of a new wood product manufacturing shop from 60 m to 36.58 m and 60 m to 42.46 m respectively; and
2. Section 803.10.i.iii.b by decreasing the west side yard setback of an existing wood product manufacturing shop from 60 m to 4.54 m; and
3. Section 803.10.i.iii.b by decreasing the west and east side yard setback of outdoor log storage areas from 60 m to 36.58 m and 60 m to 42.46 m respectively.

The Electoral Area Advisory Committee (EAAC) will be considering this application at their Regular Meeting to be held via electronic means in the Conference Room of the Regional District of North Okanagan on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
