The Silver Star Transfer Station is open 7 days per week, 24 hours per day and accepts only soft garbage (no construction waste or large items) and recyclable material (only cardboard, paper, tin cans, glass jars, and aluminum). The RDNO contracts a hauler to transfer the refuse and the recyclable material to local facilities.
