The Regional District of North Okanagan oversees the supply, distribution and management of six water utilities:

• Greater Vernon Water Utility
• Grindrod Water Utility
• Gunter-Ellison Water System
• Mabel Lake Water Utility
• Silver Star Water Utility
• Whitevale Water Utility

The primary objectives in managing the water utilities are to:

• provide clean, safe, drinking water in quantities to meet current and future demand.
• make “Water Quality Advisories” a rare event
