Planning

Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) provides community planning services to all electoral areas of the North Okanagan, as well as the participating municipalities of Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby and Spallumcheen.

The department is responsible for ensuring that land and buildings are developed in an orderly and safe manner, while taking into consideration social, environmental, economic and physical factors.

Building

The RDNO provides Building Inspection services to all electoral areas of the North Okanagan, as well as the participating municipalities of Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby and Spallumcheen.

RDNO Building Inspectors conduct reviews of all building permit applications for conformance with BC Building Code requirements, development bylaws, and other related regulations.

The City of Vernon and District of Coldstream provide planning and building inspection services for their respective areas.

Mapping & Addressing

The Regional District provides mapping services to the electoral areas and all member municipalities except the City of Vernon.  The Regional District also issues official addresses; please contact us for more information.  Visit the maps page to find maps for your area.
