Oval Park Community Stage Project

In 2011, the Regional District completed a Master Plan for Oval Park.  During the planning process for the Master Plan, the community need for an outdoor community stage was identified and the Regional District, through the White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture service, has now initiated the planning for an outdoor stage in Oval Park, Lumby, B.C.

In anticipation of grant funding becoming available, the Regional District will be working with an architect to prepare a concept drawing and rough cost estimate, which is required for grant applications.

To help the planning process we are asking community organizations to provide their input. We would like hear from you even if you do not think that your group would use an outdoor stage in the near future.  If you are interested in providing input on behalf of your community organization, please complete the survey below and return to the office of the Village of Lumby or the drop box at the White Valley Community Centre.

Following the consultation, the Regional District will be working with community stakeholders toward construction in 2017/2018 (timing dependent on funding availability and final design approvals).
