News: To provide financial relief during the global pandemic, the RDNO has delayed sending utility bills. Silver Star Water and Garbage will be delayed by 60 days. Instead of sending the annual bills in mid-May, bills will be sent in mid-July.
How to Pay your Utility Bill
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) manages the Silver Star Community Water Utility in Electoral Area “C”.
The Silver Star Mountain community obtains its water from a series of wells and two surface sources. The water treatment plant commissioned in 2012 provides both ultraviolet and chlorine disinfection, and the system serves approximately 800 customers.
