Get Involved

The Official Community Plan belongs to everybody who works, lives or plays in the plan area. Whether you are a business, a resident, a visitor or a member of another community, we want to hear from you.  Throughout the planning process there are several ways for you to become involved:

1. Watch for and participate in public meetings that will be held in the Lumby and Cherryville areas.
2. Complete and return the surveys.  These will be sent out with the mail and will also be available at key locations in the community including the Lumby Library, Frank’s Store and Cherryville Emporium.   The questionnaire can also be completed on line.
3. Share you ideas.  We have set up a project email address and would like to hear your great ideas for the area deocp@rdno.ca
4. Check the website regularly to find out where we are at in the planning process and what the community has said to this point.
5. Join the email distribution list, send us an email and ask to be added to our list deocp@rdno.ca

Community Open Houses

Come to one of the following open houses to learn about the OCP review process and provide your input on the planning issues and opportunities in your community.   You can attend either location and drop-in anytime during the stated times.
