COLDSTREAM, BC – As part of an ongoing effort to provide enhanced customer service at area Recycling and Disposal Facilities, the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is pleased to announce that customers at the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Recycling and Disposal Facility (ASRDF) and the Lumby Recycling and Disposal Facility (LRDF) now have additional payment options.
ASRDF customers have had the option of paying by debit card for a number of years and are now able to pay using their MasterCard or Visa card. Customers at the LRDF are now able to pay using their MasterCard, Visa or debit card.
“The RDNO is pleased to offer expanded payment options to customers at the ASRDF and the LRDF to improve our level of service” said Dale Danallanko, RDNO Recycling and Disposal Facilities Coordinator. “Credit cards and debit cards have been accepted at the Greater Vernon Recycling and Disposal Facility for a number of years and our customers like the convenience of various payment options.” Cash, cheques and pre-approved credit accounts will remain payment options at all RDNO recycling and disposal facilities.
According to Dee Danish, RDNO Assistant Controller, “The RDNO has added additional payment options at the ASRDF and LRDF in order to better coordinate payment processing across all recycling and disposal facilities. This is just one part of our ongoing effort to modernize the RDNO’s internal systems.”
