The Finance Department provides support and advice to the Chief Administrative Officer and the Board of Directors regarding the short and long term management of the Regional District’s financial resources, and is responsible for ensuring that the duties of the Finance Officer are discharged in accordance with the Local Government Act. In addition, the Finance Department is responsible for the following services:
