Project Description
Community Works Fund: Metal roof replacement with more energy-efficient materials. The metal roof of the Pat Duke Arena has served beyond its end-of-life through annual patching and repairs funded through the annual building maintenance budgets. The roof should be replaced in the next two to three years in order to protect this asset.
Roof Cladding progress as of May 15, 2025.

Roofing Progress Update June 09, 2025: The roofing contractors are continuing with the installation of roof panels. They are currently working on transitions around the west side door and completing preparation and tie-ins for the Hockeyville addition roof section.
Men’s Shed Contribution: The Men’s Shed has completed the new signage, which is now on-site and ready for installation once the north and south cladding bands are in place.
Painting Update: All man doors and overhead doors have been freshly painted in Lumby green to match the new addition, enhancing the overall aesthetic and cohesion of the building.


Roof Update as of June 13, 2025 - The wood grain cladding on the north end is currently being installed and looks fantastic. Installation of the B-vents for the new heaters has been completed. Additionally, the new CO₂ exhaust system and louvers are in place, with wiring and control systems scheduled for completion within the next week. The Pat Duke signage will be installed once cladding on both the north and south ends is finished. Completion is currently targeted for mid-July.

Roof update as of July 9, 2025 - The Pat Duke roofing project is nearing completion. This week, the team is finalizing the roof peak vents, as well as the cladding and signage on the south side.



June 29, 2025 Update - The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is proud to announce that the roof replacement and building upgrades at the Pat Duke Memorial Arena have been completed successfully.
