The Regional District offers many services to the public where payment options may vary depending on the service provided and location you visit.
The RDNO operates various landfills and transfer stations within the region. Customers can pay by cash, credit card, debit or by prepaid cards at the landfill sites. Prepaid cards must be purchased at the RDNO Aberdeen office. Please note that the Aberdeen office only accepts cash, cheque or debit card.
Commercial Customer Credit Accounts
Commercial customers with an estimated average monthly charge of $2,000 or more may apply for a credit account by calling the RDNO Finance department at 250-550-3700. Only vehicles clearly identified with a company logo will be authorized to charge to the companies credit account.
Payments for municipal permits can be made in person at the RDNO Aberdeen office. Payments options available are cash, cheque or debit card, we do not accept credit cards.
Payment for invoices issued for miscellaneous items through our Accounts Receivable system can be paid by mailing a cheque or in person at the RDNO Aberdeen office by cash, cheque or debit card. We do not accept credit cards.
The Regional District does not issue property tax notices, nor does it accept payment for property taxes.
When paying by mail, make the cheque payable to "Regional District of North Okanagan."
Please accept the cancelled cheque as your receipt. Do not send cash in the mail.

We can arrange an automatic withdrawal directly from your bank account on the due date of your Regional District utility bill. To arrange these services, please download and complete our pre-authorized payment form.
The completed form can be emailed, mailed or dropped off in person. Please be sure to include a voided cheque with your application.
You can use a third-party service provider that offers payment by credit card, such as Plastiq. The third-party provider will your individual payment and remittance details to the RDNO for you. Third-party providers may charge a fee for their services.
