Receive Emergency Support Services Payments by Direct Deposit
If you have been evacuated and are receiving assistance through Emergency Support Services (ESS), you can now receive your financial support quickly and securely through e-Transfer.
ESS has partnered with the BC Services Card App to make it easier for evacuees to receive payments without delays.
Steps to Get Started:
- Download the BC Services Card App (free, available for iOS and Android devices.)
- Log in and verify your identity.
- Enable Direct Deposit.
Once verified you can receive ESS payments via e-Transfer directly to your bank account. If you do not have a smartphone you can still receive ESS support through traditional methods.
