18 Avenue from 15 Street West Water Main Replacement

This water main replaces approximately 163 metres of 1981, 150mm diameter ductile iron pipe. This section of water main was identified as a high-priority water main replacement project based on the calculated risk using RiLCAMP (Greater Vernon Water risk tool) and high number of breaks. The water main is approximately 43 years old, with an average of 3.1 breaks per 100 metres, ranking it as having one of the highest densities of breaks in Greater Vernon Water.
