Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail

The Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail is more than just a pathway — it’s a vital link connecting communities across Secwépemc territory. This trail tells the land’s true story while preserving natural habitats, supporting wildlife, and offering a healthy, sustainable way to travel by foot or bicycle. It also safeguards the region’s rich heritage, cultural traditions, and agricultural roots, all while promoting recreational tourism in rural areas.

Although still currently under construction, the trail will e ventually stretch just over 50 kilometres, the trail invites families and adventurers alike to explore breathtaking landscapes, with convenient amenities along the way -  making it an ideal destination for discovery and connection.
