RDNO Launches New Public Map Portal

Media Release

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) is pleased to announce the launch of its new public map portal on the RDNO website.

The new application replaces the RDNO's current map viewer and offers an improved user experience through a modern, more reliable mapping platform. The existing map viewer will remain available for a short transition period to help users become familiar with the new system before it is retired.

As part of this upgrade, the RDNO has adopted ParcelMap BC as its new source for cadastral (parcel boundary) information. ParcelMap BC is the authoritative provincial parcel fabric and provides the same parcel information used by BC Assessment, local governments, provincial agencies, and other organizations throughout British Columbia.

The new map portal will continue to provide residents, businesses, developers, and other users with access to a variety of property and geographic information through an enhanced and more user-friendly interface.

Users should note that limited parcel information will be displayed for properties located within the City of Vernon. For detailed information on City of Vernon property, users are encouraged to use the City of Vernon mapping application

The RDNO remains committed to providing accessible, accurate, and up-to-date geographic information to the public and looks forward to offering an improved online mapping experience through the new portal.
