Project Description
The Emergency Reflective Address Sign Project will improve emergency preparedness and public safety for approximately 2,700 residents of Electoral Area D by supporting the production and installation of highly visible reflective civic address signs for rural properties.
Funded through Electoral Area D Community Works Fund (CWF) funding, this $25,000 project is being delivered by the Lumby & District Health Services Society in partnership with the Lumby Men's Shed. The program will provide durable, reflective address signs that help emergency responders, including fire, ambulance, and police services, locate properties more quickly and accurately, particularly during nighttime or in adverse weather conditions.
Improved address visibility will enhance emergency response times, strengthen community safety, and increase overall resilience for rural residents. Through this initiative, residents will have access to reflective civic address signage that supports public safety and improves property identification throughout the community.
