Service upgrades in this area will result in a loss of water to some customers on Thursday, September 24 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. The affected area includes some properties on Aberdeen Road, Rendell Drive, Regency Court, Chelsea Court, Shamanski Drive, and Paisley Drive (see map).
During this period, there may be no water service to your property. Please take the necessary measures to ensure that you have enough water for your household needs.
Following the water interruption, a Water Quality Advisory (WQA) will be in effect until testing confirms the continued safety of the water system.
What should affected customers do?
When the water service resumes, properties in the area may experience reduced water pressure, discolouration of the water, and/or air in their water. Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap is preferred.
The level of treatment provided by the RDNO has been maintained; however, some customers with weakened immune systems and/or those wishing additional protection may wish to boil their water for at least one minute when preparing food, drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice or brushing their teeth.
When this notice is rescinded, it will be posted on the RDNO website.
