Allenby Way, Crescent, and Place Water Main Replacement

This water main project will replace approximately 306 meters of 1981 vintage 150/200mm ductile
iron (DI) water main. These sections of water main were identified as a high-priority replacement
as they are in a corrosive soil area with multiple breaks. This project will connect the 150mm PVC
section installed under the high-pressure gas line in 2018, eliminating the DI sections of pipe on both sides as well as the length of Allenby Place and a section on Allenby Way.

Design has been approved as part of the 2026 budget and construction is anticipated to take place in 2028.
