Coldstream Creek Road - Abandon Water Main

The RDNO has partnered with the District of Coldstream on this project. This project will abandon an existing 100 mm CI that was installed in 1940.  Corrosion of this pipe has negatively affected water quality in the area and requires regular flushing to prevent deteriorating water quality in the low flow period (winter months).

Water services are to be switched over to existing Asbestos Cement (AC) water mains at a higher pressure.  Water services will require a pressure regulator valve to be installed with the switchover, at the property line and within a maintenance hole.

This project has been moved to the 2026 construction year.
