Project Description
This project is funded by the Electoral Area B Community Works Fund in the amount of $22,680 and the Electoral Area C Community Works Fund in the amount of $22,320. This gives a total amount of $45,000 for this project.
The SAP Community Garden was originally constructed with 30 plots, with infrastructure in place to allow for future expansion to 44 plots. Due to sustained community interest, the waitlist has now grown to a level that ensures all additional plots will be fully subscribed. Expanding the garden at this time will help meet current demand, reduce the waitlist, and support continued community engagement in local food production.
