Dates Set for Temporary Closure of Armstrong/Spallumcheen DDF for Paving

Starting Monday, November 3, the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Diversion and Disposal Facility will close temporarily to allow for paving of the new residential transfer station. 

Final base preparation and paving is expected to take place over four (4) days: Monday, November 3, through Thursday, November 6. Should the work proceed as planned, the facility is expected to reopen on Friday, November 7. The Greater Vernon Diversion and Disposal Facility will be open during the temporary ASDDF closure. RDNO Solid Waste Management appreciates the public’s ongoing patience as the residential transfer station project nears completion.
