Greater Vernon Arts and Culture Impact Survey Open

Media Release

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) has launched a resident survey to better understand the effects that arts and culture have on our lives in the Greater Vernon region.

Arts and culture take all forms, from participating in events like the Vernon Winter Carnival, listening to or creating live or recorded music, knitting or purchasing a handmade scarf, to enjoying or performing in live theatre. We know that arts and culture contribute to our local economy, health, and society. To better understand these contributions, the RDNO is undertaking an assessment through research, interviews, and a resident survey to gather data that can be used to understand the many benefits of arts and culture and advocate for continued funding and support for the arts and culture sector.

The resident survey will be an essential part of how the RDNO gathers information, so we need your help! By completing the online survey and sharing how arts and culture affects your life, you will help us understand the benefits of arts and culture to our community, AND you will also be entered into a draw for the chance to win an iPad!

The survey is online and anonymous and will take approximately seven to ten minutes to complete.

Fill out the survey & enter to win an iPad!

The survey will be open until Monday, July 18, 2022, and the draw for the iPad will take place within two weeks of the survey closing.
