In conjunction with Interior Health, the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) advises that the Boil Water Notice issued March 20, 2026, to customers within the Boss Creek subdivision on Boss Creek Road and Galiano Road has been RESCINDED.
Bacterial testing results and disinfection levels are within normal drinking water standards in the distribution system.

Original Notice - March 20, 2026
The Regional District of North Okanagan, in conjunction with Interior Health, advises customers supplied by Greater Vernon Water that they are on a precautionary Boil Water Notice as of March 20, 2026 until sampling results confirm the drinking water is safe.
A power outage in the area resulted in a pressure loss to Greater Vernon Water customers within the Boss Creek subdivision on Boss Creek Road and customers on Galiano Road.
What should affected customers do?
All customers should boil their water for at least one minute when preparing food, drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice or brushing their teeth.
Properties in the area may experience reduced water pressure, discolouration of the water, and/or air. Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap is preferred, but bathtubs may be used if outside taps are unavailable during the cooler months.
