As part of ongoing efforts by the Regional District of the North Okanagan (RDNO) to maintain water quality and infrastructure, customers listed in the area above will notice a water disruption:
Tuesday, June 24, 2025 between 7:00am and 5:00pm
During this period, water service to your residence will be temporarily turned off. To minimize the
inconvenience, we recommend that you take the following precautions:
- Plan ahead and store an adequate supply of water for drinking, cooking, household needs, and sanitation purposes.
- Ensure that faucets are turned off to prevent any damage once the water service is restored.
Following the water interruption, a Water Quality Advisory (WQA) will be in effect until Thursday,
June 26, 2025 at 5:00pm, unless otherwise notified.
During this time, you may notice reduced water pressure, air in the water, discoloration and/or
increased turbidity (cloudiness). Please run a cold tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap
is preferred.
The level of treatment provided by the RDNO has been maintained; however, customers with weakened immune systems, or those wishing to take extra precaution, should boil their water for
at least one minute when preparing any food, drinking water, washing fruits & vegetables, making
beverages or ice, or when brushing teeth.
