Due to complications with the previous repair to a water main (previous notice), the water in this area will be turned off so additional repairs can be conducted. Customers listed in the above area will again experience water disruption starting on:

Monday, December 8, 2025 starting at 11:00 pm with service returning Tuesday, December 9, 2025 by 11:00 pm

Please make necessary arrangements to have a short-term water supply stored before this work starts.  While every effort will be made to complete the project as quickly as possible, it may be necessary to have the water off longer.

Following the return of water, all customers affected by this notice will be on a Boil Water Notice (BWN) until samples confirm it can be removed. Due to the required water interruption, the water may become compromised. Customers in the affected area should boil their water for at least one minute when preparing food, drinking, washing fruits & vegetables, making beverages or ice or when brushing their teeth until sampling results confirm the water is safe.

When the water is returned, affected properties may experience cloudiness of the water and/or air in their system. Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared.  An outside tap is preferred, but bathtubs may be used if outside taps are unavailable during the cooler months.

We thank you for your patience during this time as we work to address the needed repair.

Go to www.rdno.ca/emergencies for contact information, including information on what to do in the event of a water main break.

Updates will also be posted to www.rdno.ca/news (filter by Water Notices). When this BWN has been rescinded, a notice will be hand-delivered.

If you have any questions, please contact the RDNO Utilities Department at 250-550-3700.
