The Armstrong/Spallumcheen Transfer Station is open the following hours seasonally:
SUMMER (March 1 - November 30):
- Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:30am to 4:00pm
WINTER (December 1 - February 28)
- Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Saturday: 9:30am to 3:30pm
- Sunday: Closed
This facility is open regular hours during all Statutory Holidays except Christmas Day and New Years Day.

The Armstrong/Spallumcheen Transfer Station accepts residential garbage. Please separate divertible items to reduce waste and save fees.
The following divertible materials are accepted at RDNO Landfills and Transfer Stations:
Yard & Garden Waste and Wood Waste at the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Transfer Station is currently restricted to the volume of a full-size pickup bed or less per day. Residents with large quantities of materials are asked to utilize Greater Vernon or Lumby Landfills.
