Related Parks & Facilities
Includes the overall administration and management of White Valley Parks, Recreation and Culture facilities and services. Day-to-day operations are provided through service contracts with the Village of Lumby, Lumby Curling Club Society, the Mabel Lake Community Club and the Cherryville Community Club. This service also includes the provision of grants which seek to enhance recreation and culture within the White Valley service area.
Responsibilities include contract and asset management related to RDNO owned or leased facilities including:
- 2 indoor areas (Pat Duke Arena and Lumby Curling Club)
- 1 outdoor rink
- 1 outdoor pool
- 1 water park
- 1 recreation facility
- 1 community hall
- 6 parks and related park amenities
