REGIONAL DISTRICT OF NORTH OKANAGAN – PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that a Delegated Public Hearing covering Electoral Areas "B" and "C" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2953, 2023; Electoral Areas "D" and "E" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2954, 2023; and Electoral Area "F" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2955, 2023, will be held in the Board Room of the Regional District of North Okanagan at 9848 Aberdeen Road, Coldstream, BC on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.

Bylaw Nos. 2953, 2954 and 2955 propose minor amendments to the Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaws to ensure that the proposed new RDNO Zoning Bylaw is consistent with the existing OCP Bylaws.

 

The Amending Bylaws can be viewed here:

  • Electoral Areas "B" and "C" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2953, 2023;
  • Electoral Areas "D" and "E" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2954, 2023; and,
  • Electoral Area "F" Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 2955, 2023.

A copy of Bylaw No 2953, 2954 and 2955 can be viewed at the links above or at the office of the Regional District of North Okanagan at 9848 Aberdeen Road, Coldstream, BC.  Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Statutory holidays. You may also request a copy of the Bylaw by emailing planning@rdno.ca.

You may provide input:      

  • By e-mail: publichearing@rdno.ca  prior to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2023;
  • By letter: to the address provided below, please ensure that letter is received at the RDNO office prior to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 4, 2023;
  • In Person:  Attend the Delegated Public Hearing to present submissions; or
  • Via Zoom: Request a Zoom link to the meeting through our Corporate Services Department at corp@rdno.ca.

Be advised that:

  1. Your name and residential address must be included with your submission; and
  2. Written submissions provided will be included in a public meeting agenda and as such considered a matter of public information.
