Original Notice - April 29, 2025

The Regional District of North Okanagan, in conjunction with Interior Health, advises customers in the Rise and Okanagan Hills Areas (see map) that they are on a Boil Water Notice as of April 29, 2025.

What should affected customers do?

All customers should boil their water for at least one minute when preparing food, drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice or brushing their teeth.

Why is this notice in place?

All customers within the affected area (see Map) are on a Boil Water Notice due to loss of water pressure. Pumps at a nearby pump station lost power due to a local power outage. A generator is now powering the pumps supplying water to the area.
