Project Description
This project includes the development of a long-term parks, recreation, and culture Master Plan to identify and address community needs, review and provide recommendations for service level capacity, and provide recommendations for asset planning and management for Electoral Area "F" Parks, Recreation, and Culture services and facilities.
Electoral Area "F" has a population of 4316 residents. Mabel Lake, Mara Lake, and the Shuswap River are considered substantial tourist destinations. So far, this project has seen a variety of public consultation sessions at local community halls, and we are in the process of sorting through this data for consideration in the draft Master Plan.
