Located at 300 Pottery Road, the FTC was established in 1991 to provide a training facility for the North Okanagan Area volunteer fire departments and associations. Over the years, the FTC has evolved from a facility operated by volunteer firefighters to a regional function managed by the Regional District of North Okanagan.
Some of the programs organized and hosted at the North Okanagan Fire Training Centre (FTC) include:
